How our assessments work
Golf Gear Lab is an independent information website. The US edition currently uses no commission links.
Evidence and attribution
Our assessments combine published specifications, manufacturer documentation, attributed independent testing and comparative analysis. Where we cite another reviewer's hands-on findings, the evidence belongs to that reviewer. We do not present it as our own testing.
What a GGL score means
A GGL score is an editorial assessment of features, usability, compatibility, limitations and suitability for its intended golfer. It is not a laboratory measurement. Scores carried over from our research library are not US retailer value rankings; pricing and regional packages can change the ownership decision.
Planning tools
Room thresholds are indicative editorial planning bands. The tools do not certify a room as safe and do not replace manufacturer installation requirements. Budget totals use the figures you enter and show their assumptions.
Regional checks and updates
US availability, memberships, warranty terms and software compatibility should be checked with the manufacturer for the exact model. Pages based on regional bundles and old promotions are withheld from the US search index while they are adapted.
