Choose the projector after the screen

Choose usable screen dimensions and aspect ratio first. Calculate throw distance using the exact projector lens specification. Keep the mount outside the swing path and reduce shadows. Budget for mounting, cables, room lighting control and display connection. A brighter or higher-resolution projector does not compensate for an incompatible throw distance.
